Fiber
Berk-Tek offers a truly comprehensive selection of fiber optic cables for both indoor and outdoor applications. Our tight-buffer interconnect cables for Fiber-to-the-WorkstationTM, patch and jumper cord applications are available in simplex, zip-cord, two and four fiber round constructions.

Berk-Tek's Premises Distribution riser and plenum rated cables are ideal for backbone and horizontal applications. Higher fiber counts are bundled into multi-fiber sub-units for easier identification and increased fiber protection during storage, installation and termination.

Heavy Duty break-out or fan-out cables offer added protection and durability for higher tensile strength and easier installation.

Berk-Tek's Outside Plant series is the industry's most complete line of loose tube cables. Berk-Tek's UNI-LiteTM products feature a small diameter, flexible cable for outside plant installation options, including direct burial, lashed aerial, outside duct and tray. Armored cables are available for use in particularly harsh environments and for protection against rodents. Berk-Tek also manufactures a true indoor/ outdoor riser rated cable that may be installed within buildings beyond the 50 foot limit of non-rated cable. Berk-Tek OPR cables are manufactured in the UNI-Lite construction as well as the multi-fiber loose tube design, up to 144 fibers.
